Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Red Ocean General Contracting collects through this website and our forms, why we use it, and the rights you have under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law.
Who we are
Red Ocean General Contracting is a Madinah-based general contractor (CR 1010483956). For the personal data described in this notice, we are the data controller: we decide why and how it is handled.
Questions about this notice or your data can be sent to sales@redoceancontracting.com, or by post to Building 8323, Ahmad Bin Ubayd St, Al Khalidiyah Dist., Al Madinah Al Munawwarah 42317.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or contact us, we collect what you type: your name, company, email, phone number, reply language, your message and any files you attach.
Our servers keep limited technical logs (IP address, browser and time of request) for a short period to keep the site secure and to diagnose problems. We do not buy data or build marketing profiles.
- Contact details you enter in our forms
- Message content and attached drawings
- Short-lived security logs
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies
How we use your data
We use personal data only for the purposes it was given: to answer your request and prepare a priced proposal, to deliver services you order, to keep the website secure, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
The legal bases under the PDPL are your consent (the consent box on our forms), steps taken at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interest in running and securing the business, and compliance with law.
Who we share it with
Your data goes to the Red Ocean teams handling your request (sales, projects and HSE) and to service providers who run our email and hosting under contract. They may use it only for the service they provide to us.
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only when a court, regulator or law enforcement body asks under a valid legal procedure, or at your instruction.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and enquiries: up to 24 months after your last contact, then deleted or made anonymous.
Contract, invoice and project records: kept for the retention period required by Saudi commercial and tax law (up to 10 years), then deleted.
Mailing lists: until you unsubscribe. Security logs: no longer than 30 days.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask us to:
To exercise any of these, email sales@redoceancontracting.com with the subject “Data request”. We reply within the timeframe the law sets.
- Confirm whether we hold your data and give you a copy
- Correct data that is wrong or out of date
- Delete data we no longer need to keep
- Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already done)
- Lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA)
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary ones store your language choice (NEXT_LOCALE), remember your cookie consent for up to a year (ro_consent) and keep you signed in to the admin while you use it (payload-token). They are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner: Google Analytics uses the _ga and _ga_<container> cookies to count visits and show us which pages are read. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
Change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer — the banner reappears so you can update it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains readable without them.
Contact and complaints
Send data requests and questions to sales@redoceancontracting.com or to the postal address above. You may also complain to SDAIA if you believe your rights under the PDPL have not been respected.
We may update this notice when our practices or the law change; the date at the top shows the latest revision.
