Eight-month maintenance across two processing plants with 940 assets tagged before harvest season.
The challenge
Two agri-processing plants near Buraidah needed maintenance before and through the harvest intake: structural and roof repairs, electrical, AC, paint and masonry, pest control critical to food safety, and asset tagging that had never been done. Production ran six days a week, leaving a narrow Sunday maintenance window.
Our approach
We front-loaded structural and roof defects into the pre-harvest six weeks, then moved to a Sunday-cycle planned programme — electrical checks, AC servicing, masonry and paint by zone — with responsive repairs during the week. Pest control was sequenced before deep cleaning to food-safety rules, and all 940 assets were tagged and photographed against the register so next season’s work starts from a baseline.
The result
Eight months across two plants: 940 assets tagged, 380 planned tasks and 940 responsive jobs closed, zero production interruption attributed to maintenance, zero lost-time injuries across 8,400 safe man-hours.
