12,600 m² of poultry-house roofing completed in 16 weeks under full biosecurity rules.
The challenge
Four poultry houses near Buraidah — 12,600 m² of roof — needed sheeting and purlins while three of the four houses stayed populated. Ammonia in the air attacked standard coatings, movement between houses was controlled by biosecurity, and crews could not cross from a dirty zone to a clean one mid-shift.
Our approach
Work ran house by house in strict dirty-to-clean order with dedicated tool sets per house and boot-wash stations at every boundary. Purlins were gauge-checked and replaced where corrosion had thinned them, and a higher-grade coated sheet with stainless fixings was specified for ammonia resistance. Materials staged once and never moved back between houses.
The result
Sixteen weeks, 12,600 m² re-roofed, zero biosecurity breaches logged by the client’s vet, zero lost-time injuries across 16,400 safe man-hours — and the last house was handed over without a single day of production interruption.
