CASE STUDY

3,400 m² of failing roof replaced across three buildings with no indoor leak all season.

The challenge

A trading compound in Abha had corroded sheeting and recurring leaks across three occupied buildings. Asir’s afternoon rain meant stripping a roof could not wait for dry weather, the buildings had to stay in use, and the old fixings were so corroded that panels lifted during removal.

Our approach

We stripped and re-sheeted in 400 m² bays under temporary waterproof membranes, working between rain fronts with a roving crew that sealed each bay the same day it was opened. New fixings went into purlins checked and replaced where section loss exceeded 15%, and ridge, parapet and gutter interfaces were rebuilt rather than patched. Rainwater goods were upsized to the intensity Asir actually receives.

The result

Three buildings re-roofed in nine weeks: 3,400 m² replaced, every open bay closed before the next rain front, zero indoor leaks through the following wet season, and zero lost-time injuries across 7,600 safe man-hours.
