12-month maintenance contract closed with 1,240 assets tagged and zero LTI across 156 visits.
The challenge
A tank farm and its support buildings needed planned and responsive maintenance under a four-hour response clause. Assets had never been systematically tagged, maintenance records lived in three separate systems, and every intervention required permit-to-work inside a live hydrocarbon area.
Our approach
We started with a full asset survey — tagging 1,240 items from valves boxes to rooftop units — and built one register that matched the client’s maintenance software. A monthly planned programme (structural inspections, corrosion touch-ups, electrical checks, AC servicing) ran alongside a responsive crew for callouts, all dispatched from a site office with permit handling built in. Roof and structure inspections were scheduled quarterly with photo reports.
The result
Twelve months, 156 scheduled visits and 2,140 callouts closed within SLA, zero lost-time injuries across 13,400 safe man-hours, and the asset register was accepted as the client’s single source of truth for the complex.
